Moving Lines
During this eight week workshop we will be creating one-of-a-kind cards and learning about yourself and your classmates.
A Special DCA Workshop - use art to learn about yourself and others, express your feelings, listen and communicate, and build your social connections.
During the card making process you will learn the following:
How to show gratitude to another person.
How to start conversation with a stranger.
What does it mean to say ‘yes and…’
Different ways people express themselves.
How to show appreciation for another person’s work.
How to offer feedback with compassion.
How to use different art materials by making collages and creating beautiful cards.
How to listen to yourself and to others.
Sessions: March 23, April 27, May 18, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 28, October 12
Materials are included. From 1:30p - 3:00p in San Mateo. Space is limited to 10 participants.
