In this class we will use embodied, artistic, and tactile ways to learn the foundations of poetry, while making our own.
By using the gifts of poetry and community, we will create a safe space to explore emotional identification and expression in order to develop sustainable and healthy coping skills when big feelings arise. We will practice a range of skills such as creativity, flexibility, abstract thinking, reading, and writing- while meeting each participant at their level.
